An introductory course to Irish language for folks with little or no Irish language skill. This course aims to provide students with a foundational understanding of the language in preparation for the Irish Language Nest.

This casual gathering of learners utilizes a Language Nest model, which is an important learning format that precipitates language community cohesion among learners with different skill levels. This format also shifts the focus from teacher-led, standard board instruction to skill sharing and self-directed learning. For this reason, this is NOT a course and registration is NOT required. However, at least one semester of Irish Gaelic 1 or equivalent study/exposure required. For more information contact Nathan.

Join learners as they hone their skills through a concerted reading schedule focused on elementary stories accessible to most levels of study in a comfortable and supportive setting.
